Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation Provides Grants to 34 Nonprofit Organizations

Investment of $2 million supports organizations across the state providing support services to community members most impacted by COVID-19.

DENVER – Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation (DDCOF) is providing $2 million in funding this year to 34 Colorado nonprofit organizations, reaching 95,000 Coloradans. Delta Dental grant helps Community Partnership in Teller county sustain programs

When the coronavirus struck the nation in March, Community Partnership Family Resource Center went into an immediate pivot.

Within a few days of the shutdown announcement, Jodi Mijares director of the nonprofit organization, and her staff, launched a food pantry. “As other agencies started closing, schools, churches, they brought us their food,” Mijares said. “So it just kind of happened.”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Delta Dental Institute released its first-ever Community Impact Report, highlighting the investments Delta Dental companies and their foundations made in 2019 to expand access to oral health care, improve oral health education, and support communities. Delta Dental donated more than $76.3 million in 2019, impacting the lives of more than 12.8 million people and funding more than 1,700 programs.
